I presented my “Batting Informational” on Wednesday, July 16 to the Stitching Sisters Quilt Guild.  What a nice group of quilters!  They meet on the 3rd Wednesday from 10 am to noon ath Rancho San Diego Library - 11555 Via Rancho, San Diego in Rancho San Diejo, Guests are free.  I felt very welcome - had lunch at Janet’s, a lovely breakfast/lunch location and then visited “Cozy Quilt Shop” - wow that is a really nice store.  If you are in the San Diego area - it is worth the extra side trip.  Hope to see you at the San Diejo show.

Hi,

I am getting ready for a busy summer. On July 16 we will be at the El Cajon Quilt Guild Meeting. It is at the Rancho San Diego Library, 11555 Via Rancho San Digo El Cajon, CA 92019. I wil be speaking at 11 am. I am sure that if you are in the area, you will be more than welcome.

On July 24 I will be at the Nite Owls Guild in Ontario. It is an evening meeting. Look for more information next week.

And I hope to see you at the International Quilt Festival in Long Beach. It will be an exciting event.

August will be busy too. Currently I have two shows and a family vacation.

Welcome Back,

Several Long Arm Quilters inquired about Bamboo Batting on the Roll.  Bamboo on the roll is not available yet.  As soon as it is, I will be carrying it for the long arm community.  But if you are interested in any of the other products on the roll, please let me know and I can quote you a price and delivery time.  Hobbs is usually available in about 10 days - it is trucked in from Texas.  Fairfield, Quilter’s Dream and Mountain Mist are a few days later because those products are coming from the East Coast.  And I always have Airtex in stock by the roll.

Hi,

I am glad you are visiting the Battylady.  We have been busy with guild meetings, quilt shows and getting ready for future shows.  In May we were at Ventura for the Camarillo Quilters Guild and Lancaster for the Antelope Valley Quilters Association Shows.  Last weekend we were in Aliso Viejo for the Beach Cities Quilters show.  Here is where I will be in the next few months:

August 2 & 3 Yorba Linda, Yorba Linda Community Center, Quilt Show

August 28 - 30 San Diego Quilt Show, San Diego Convention Center

I still have openings for Quilt Guild Presentations in 2008, and I am booking for 2009.  Please contact me for availability.

A few friends and I have entered the Orange County Fair Quilt Competition.  I have attached a picture of our entry.
