This is the most commonly used type of quilt batting.  You get the soft and snuggly feeling from the cotton portion and polyester gives it a little loft.  It is a general purpose batting that is especially good for people just learning how to quilt (whether by Long Arm or domestic sewing machine) because it is forgiving if you need to rip out any stitches.

This batting is needle punched and resin bonded.
